Build the look

Three decisions, then a wear test.

  1. 01

    Set the base

Start with burgundy tunic and dark flexible bottoms. Keep this layer comfortable enough to wear for the whole plan.

  2. 02

    Make it readable

Add ivory fabric curves flowing from shoulder to upper waist as the clearest clue. Let that single shape do more work than several small props.

  3. 03

    Finish, then test

Use one matte-gold oval printed above the bands as an abstract source to complete the idea. Photograph the look from front and side, then sit, turn, and climb a step; each profile must be printed or sewn flat below the face, with no actual broom, flame, bird, animal role, cauldron, pointed rigid brim, projecting gargoyle, or sharp ironwork.
