Three decisions, then a wear test.

Set the base
Start with charcoal tunic with comfortable black base layers. Keep this layer comfortable enough to wear for the whole plan.

Make it readable
Add flexible green, teal, and violet fabric bands as the clearest clue. Let that single shape do more work than several small props.

Finish, then test
Use one band tipped with pale pink to complete the idea. Fold each costume into a tote, then dress, sit, bend, turn, reach overhead, and check it under a phone light; every element must remain unpowered, flexible, free of mirror glare, inside elbow width, and above the heel.
