Build the look

Three decisions, then a wear test.

  1. 01

    Set the base

Start with slate sweatshirt and dark trousers. Keep this layer comfortable enough to wear for the whole plan.

  2. 02

    Make it readable

Add flexible concentric fabric rings narrowing near one shoulder as the clearest clue. Let that single shape do more work than several small props.

  3. 03

    Finish, then test

Use a bright-white innermost ring to complete the idea. Fold each costume into a tote, then dress, sit, bend, turn, reach overhead, and check it under a phone light; every element must remain unpowered, flexible, free of mirror glare, inside elbow width, and above the heel.
